Yesterday marked the exciting kickoff of our WordPress Web Developer program, igniting enthusiasm and passion among 65 enrolled students, with 35 actively participating from across the globe. In our steadfast commitment to fostering youth growth and nurturing entrepreneurship among Gen Z, we initially sponsored 10 bursaries. However, after carefully reviewing the motivations received, we’ve decided to extend the program to all registrants, ensuring equal access to this transformative opportunity.

The inaugural session served as a captivating introduction, immersing students in a dynamic 90-minute exploration of essential web development concepts. From delving into the versatility of WordPress and website creation to unraveling the potential of emerging technologies like ChatGPT and AI, students were exposed to a rich tapestry of knowledge. Additionally, topics such as Canva for visual content creation, AI-driven image and video production, and the significance of pixels in web design were expertly covered, laying a robust foundation for future learning and growth.

Throughout the program, students will delve into a diverse array of web development projects, including building E-Commerce Websites, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Author websites, Business Solutions, and Sales Tools. With hands-on experience and expert guidance, students will acquire the skills and knowledge needed to embark on a variety of career paths. Whether launching their own business, freelancing, or securing positions at companies managing websites or advertising agencies, the possibilities are endless.
